STANLEY® Tape Measures are covered by a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY.  STANLEY® Tools warrants tape measures against deficiencies in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. Deficient products will be replaced if sent to: Stanley Black & Decker, 100 Passmore Lane, Jackson, TN 38305, Attn: Quality Assurance. STANLEY® Tools is not responsible for product failures resulting from excessive wear, misuse, abuse, alteration or when damage or defect has been caused by repair made or attempted by anyone other than STANLEY® Tools or an authorized service center. This chart will help you to determine if a tape measure is defective and should be replaced. STANLEY® Tools tape measures are inspected and tested before shipment and are believed to be free from defects in workmanship and material. Please use the Tape Measure Replacement Policy as guide when handling claims for adjustment.
