Pro-Tip: When installing router bits, never insert the shank all the way to the bottom of the collet. Insert it fully, then pull it back out approximately 1/16th of an inch before tightening. This prevents heat transfer from expanding the bit against the bottom of the collet, which can cause vibration or make the bit difficult to remove later.
