Pro Tip

Use the dual-sided blade for vertical measurements. Hook the end hook onto a ledge or pipe above you and read the vertical measurement on the back of the blade, saving you a trip up a ladder. The diamond-coated hook is also great for grabbing the rounded edge of a pipe or conduit without slipping.
