Built for professional longevity and superior finish quality, the 36-128 features four cutters, ensuring a flawlessly smooth surface that requires little to no sanding. The cutting edges are crafted from Freud’s exclusive TiCo™ Hi-Density Carbide, allowing them to retain razor sharpness much longer than standard bits. The entire body is coated in Freud’s signature Red Perma-SHIELD® Non-Stick Coating, which minimizes friction, heat buildup, and resin adhesion. While it comes set up for beading, you can easily convert this tool into a standard round-over bit by swapping the bearing (requires Freud 62-104 bearing and 62-313 step washer, sold separately).

Pro-Tip: Because this bit creates a large 3/4" profile, it removes a significant amount of material. To prevent burning the wood and to ensure safety, you must lower your router speed to 16,000 RPM or less. Additionally, do not attempt to cut the full profile in a single pass. Take 2 or 3 lighter passes to gradually reach the final depth for the cleanest possible finish.
