The Freud 38-524 is a 1-1/2-inch overall diameter classical bold cove and bead router bit engineered to shape decorative architectural profiles on cabinet doors, furniture edges, and custom millwork. Constructed with a 1/4-inch shank and Freud’s patented Quadra-Cut™ 4-cutter design, this tool uses two main cutters alongside two up-shearing secondary cutters to eliminate tearout and produce a smooth finish.
