The Bosch ROS20VSC-RT is a reconditioned 2.5 Amp, 5-inch variable-speed random orbit sander designed for professional sanding, finishing, and surface-preparation applications. Its random orbit action, microcellular backing pad, and variable-speed control from 7,500 to 12,000 OPM are designed to provide fast material removal and smooth, well-blended finishes.

Best Used For

• Finish Carpentry & Cabinetmaking: Smooth wood surfaces before staining, painting, or finishing.
• Remodeling & Construction: Prepare wood surfaces and remove existing finishes during renovation projects.
• Automotive & General Surface Preparation: Perform controlled sanding and finishing on compatible surfaces using the appropriate abrasive.

Key Performance & Safety Features

• Variable-Speed Control: Adjustable from 7,500 to 12,000 OPM, allowing the operator to match sanding speed to the material and task.
• Random Orbit Action: Combines pad rotation and orbital movement to provide efficient material removal while producing a well-blended finish.
• Pad Dampening Brake: The integral braking system helps reduce swirl marks when lifting the sander from the workpiece.
• Microfilter Dust Collection: The onboard microfilter system is designed to capture fine sanding dust, with Bosch specifying filtration of particles as small as 1/2 micron.
